Yolo Land Trust has permanently protected over 11,000 acres in Yolo County — including farmland, open space, and wildlife habitat. Yolo Land Trust wanted to modernize their look and overhaul their identity to better align with their future goals. The logo itself is a trio of farmland, water, and greenspace which visually communicates their mission.
Photography and drone video as an important part of brand and website. We took aerial drone footage of the protected land, as well as portraits of the farmers. Other important brand assets include illustrated landscape scenes that we used subtly throughout the website to add texture and connect to the heritage of the land.
The logo was created to be adaptable for many different layouts and applications — and work just as well in one color as it does in full color. The website was completely rebuilt and the content re-structured to better house the nonprofits’ mission and accomplishments. The site utilizes the new brand and photography, as well as drone video.
